Several proprietary vineyards located in the Axarqu\u00eda. The vineyards in M\u00e1laga are the most extreme in all of Europe. The mountainside vineyards are planted at inclinations of up to 70\u00b0. There is no terracing, ladders, or mechanization to assist with the harvest. The vineyards are worked completely by hand.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Traditional dry farmed viticulture. Organic Gobelet trained vines. Cultivated completely by hand, with minimal human intervention. The majority of the vines receive no treatments whatsoever.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mediterranean climate. Temperatures reach an average high of 86\u00b0 F (30\u00b0 C) in the summer and an average low of 46\u00b0 F (8\u00b0 C) in the winter. Rainfall is extremely scarce, only reaching a level of 400 mm per year.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This wine is the result of Jorge Ord\u00f3\u00f1ez Malaga’s goal to produce a quality Garnacha from the mountains of M\u00e1laga, from a vineyard planted with vine cuttings from Calatayud.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
