Mediterranean climate with an Atlantic influence. Very cold winters and very warm hot summers.

The grapes are hand-harvested and stored in small cases. The wine is fermented with indigenous yeast in French oak puncheons and demi-muids (500-600 L barrels, respectively.)

Sourced from one of the oldest, most traditional vineyards planted in Valdeorras, Avancia Nobleza Godello expresses the authenticity the history of Valdeorras and the oldest Godello clones in the world.  Godello was almost extinct at the end of the 1980’s, so it is extremely rare to find a Godello produced from a single vineyard planted in 1904.
